I’m Zsanett. This site grew out of the fact that I was looking for answers myself — and could not find one place where everything was both accurate and understandable.
I started working with essential oils years ago, at first only for myself. What was missing was not information but order: every site said something different, and almost nowhere could I find out how much, in what, and for how long. That is the gap I am trying to fill.
What you will find here
Every product page follows the same order: where the plant comes from, which part of it the oil is made from, what it smells like, how people use it, and what to watch out for. I give the botanical name too, because one common name can cover several plants — lemon balm and lemongrass, for instance, are two entirely different things.
What you will not find here
Promises. Essential oils are not medicines: they do not diagnose, treat or cure disease. I do not write about what they are “good for”, because that would not be true, and because it is not permitted. What I do write about is when and how people use them — the rest is a conversation to have with your doctor.
About dōTERRA
I use and recommend dōTERRA products. That is neither a secret nor a side note: if you register through the link on this site, it supports me. But nothing here depends on you buying anything — every page of the knowledge base stays open whether or not you ever click a single product link.
